Our fish is from sustainable sources and freshly prepared using the best quality fillets available and cooked to order.
The cod fillets we currently fry are caught in the icy, clear Arctic waters of the North Atlantic and the Barents Sea by a family owned and run business from Thorlakshofn, Iceland. These fish stocks there are well-managed, readily available and are natural wild and not farmed.
All our fish suppliers are MSC and IRF Certified.
We source the very best quality in-season potatoes from suppliers in Cheshire and every potato we use can be fully traced back to it’s field, along with it’s growing regime & history.
Our chips are chosen and prepared off site with the potato peelings and the water recycled to reduce landfill waste. Our staff know the potato variety used each day and the farm our merchant sources them from. We always advertise this on our vehicles.
We are currently frying with Miranda from Cheshire. Some of the other potatoes we like to fry include: Ramos, Agri and Markies.
We make our own peas using 100% marrow fat super green peas. We steep them for 12 hours before our bespoke pressure cooker turns them into delicious mushy peas with no added salt, sugar or coloring. Packed with vitamins, fibre and protein, our home-made mushy peas have proved very popular.
We filter our oil every day to ensure we deliver the same consistent quality with every serving. We decided to fry with a vegetable oil that is a sustainable product sourced ethically
- 100% vegetable oil
- RSPO certified
- 100% sustainable
- No hydrogenated fats
- Less than 1% trans fat
